GaiaControversa offers several colour options, all inspired by Nature.
Green, pink, light blue, birch white, lava and a deeper blue that reminds us of the sea.
All the elements of the nature are summarized in chromatic hues that represent Mother Earth.
The tropical pattern, inspired by forests flora and fauna, tells an exotic story.

The colour theme is crucial to us.
The founder of Controversa, Nicoletta Zamunaro, is a painter.
Her favourite colour is pink. Pink: feminine and delicate, yet also powerful and durable.
Another important colour, that has made the history of Controversa, is Green: the colour that better represents Nature.

Himalaya is our sustainable and reversible pink box.
It reminds us of Himalayan salt, like crystals on paper.

Greenery almost smells of Eucalyptus.
This soft green talks about Spring, a moment of the year in which the world blends yellow and blue hues into subtle nuances.

We have thought about GaiaControversa taking inspiration from Michel Pastoureau, the world’s foremost expert in the History of colour.
Our project is a full-fledged tribute to colour: the attention to nature, the fondness for shades, the art and the need to experiment are all mingle together.

“The Colours of our Memories” is an essential release for us. It is the core of a project several women have worked on together, each of them with her own memories, her own eye, and her own perspective on life.

Each of our boxes talks about this research experience, we embrace the past through those memories, and eyes.
