Controversa Travel and the Flower in a Box

In the heart of the 2024 Illustri Festival, among colors, illustrations, and imagination, special workshops are being held for children.

Illustri Festival is a biennial event that showcases, narrates, promotes, and exhibits illustration through exhibitions, workshops, and events organized in various museum venues in the historic center of Vicenza. You can learn more about it here. 
This year, at Illustri Festival, we will witness a true blossoming of artworks, thanks to Controversa and Controversa Travel. But what exactly is Controversa Travel? Let’s find out together!

Controversa Travel: A Paper Suitcase Full of Surprises
Controversa Travel is not just a box: it's a journey into creativity. This special paper suitcase, designed to stimulate imagination, can be flipped and turned into a real game of ingenuity and manual skill. On the occasion of the Illustri Festival, each child participating in the workshops will receive one of these wonderful suitcases as a gift. But that's not all!

A Surprise Inside: The Blooming Kit
Inside each Controversa Travel suitcase, young participants will find a kit to assemble their own flower. By following the provided instructions, little gardeners can put together their own flowerpot, transforming simple pieces of cardboard into small works of art.

A Workshop of Imagination and Creativity
The workshops with Controversa Travel won’t be limited to just assembling the flowerpot and flower: once the assembly is complete, participants can unleash their creativity by coloring and personalizing their creation. Using colors and collages, each participant will have the opportunity to create a unique and original piece, to take home as a souvenir of an unforgettable experience.
