La Fille Bertha, a pseudonym for Alessandra Maria Pulixi (Cagliari, 1984), is an Italian artist and illustrator whose training ranges from psychology to illustration and visual arts.
She studied between Cagliari, Vienna, and Milan and works both independently and collaborating with art galleries and creative agencies, in Italy, Europe, and around the world.
Her visual imagery is strongly populated by creatures with female features, with sometimes animalistic characters. Hermetic, ephemeral and almost elusive, the protagonists of her works seem to float in a timeless dimension, a kind of rarefied reality, often expressed through the use of pastel tones.
Fille Bertha thus establishes a personal artistic expression strongly linked to emotional states, the subconscious and the dreamlike dimension.
